BedrockConnect DNS โ€” Use This Address
Primary DNS (US East ยท Virginia) 104.238.130.180

This is the main US instance run by the BedrockConnect project โ€” it's what makes the console DNS trick work. Alternate Virginia server: 5.161.83.73 (try this one if the main doesn't respond). You can set DNS back to automatic any time โ€” it won't affect other apps.

Xbox Setup Video Walkthrough

This video walks through the full BedrockConnect setup on Xbox โ€” the same idea applies to PlayStation and Switch too.

Need Help?

Can Java and Bedrock play together?

Yes! The server runs the Geyser plugin, which bridges Java and Bedrock. Bedrock players see Java content and can play alongside Java players seamlessly.

What if the console method doesn't work?

Try a different BedrockConnect DNS server โ€” the project lists several on their GitHub page. US East (Virginia) has worked reliably. Make sure to restart the Minecraft app after changing DNS.

Do I need to buy Minecraft twice?

No โ€” Java and Bedrock are separate purchases, but you only need the one your device supports. Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, iOS, and Android all use Bedrock Edition.

Is my DNS safe to change?

Yes โ€” BedrockConnect only intercepts Minecraft traffic. It's run by the open-source community. You can set DNS back to automatic at any time.
